Sankt Peter-Ording is located on the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein in the district of Nordfriesland and is part of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The popular vacation resort is one of the best-known destinations on the German North Sea coast and impresses with its unique natural backdrop and characteristic pile dwellings.
