The keyword is expansion: five franchise partners in the KENSINGTON network are expanding their existing licenses by additional regions

We are excited to announce the awarding of the license regions Dortmund and Mülheim an der Ruhr, as well as the license expansions in Berlin and Brandenburg. What makes this particularly special is that the franchise partners for these new licenses are familiar faces within the KENSINGTON network.

License granting for Dortmund

In the Ruhr area, Tim Jessa expanded his KENSINGTON license to Dortmund starting December 1, 2024, and thus, added further growth opportunities to his Bochum area. Tim Jessa has been an established franchise partner in the KENSINGTON network since January 2022 and chose this expansion due to the larger market and better prospects, especially in the upper price segments of the real estate market. He plans to position himself as a go-to contact for luxury real estate and leverage his football network to create additional business opportunities. His long-term goal is to "conquer the Ruhr area" and grow sustainably but steadily.

License granting for Mülheim an der Ruhr

For the second license award, we are staying in North Rhine-Westphalia. In December 2023, Sebastian Zeutzem took on the license for Essen there. Just one year later, he is expanding to Mülheim an der Ruhr, taking the next logical step to “make the brand known in the Ruhr area with heart and soul”. The close proximity of the two regions and the beautiful natural surroundings make Mülheim a very attractive place to live. Sebastian has already successfully sold properties in this area, winning over owners for KENSINGTON from the start of his Essen license. The official start of the license is January 1, 2025.

License expansion for Berlin Center/North to include the South/East region

Also as of December 1, 2024, our long-time partner Andreas Wittig has expanded his existing Berlin license area to include the Berlin South/East region with the Köpenick district. A key factor in the expansion to the area at the confluence of the Spree and Dahme rivers was, alongside the strong and trusting partnership within the KENSINGTON network, the significant potential of the region. “The village-like character, combined with the enormous potential for single-family homes, offers excellent prospects” and opportunities to gain additional market share in both the commercial and residential sectors.

License expansion in Berlin and Brandenburg South

December truly was a month of growth. In Berlin and Brandenburg South, Patrick Pienitz and Saranjan Selvendran have also expanded the licenses they hold since 2019 from 01.12.2024 and have restructured their main licenses in the process. With a total of three regions – Potsdam & Potsdam Mittelmark, Brandenburg South, including the districts of Dahme-Spreewald and Teltow-Fläming, and the south of Berlin – the two are strengthening their position in the local real estate market and setting the next milestone in their development. Familiar with the local conditions, infrastructure, and unique characteristics of each area, the two are placing a central focus on the region around the dynamic development centers of Adlershof and Altglienicke.

These four license awards are a testament to the dynamic expansion mindset that runs through our network in the form of steady, future-oriented growth. The fact that five of our long-term partners are now taking on new regions not only demonstrates the success and trust in our concept but also reflects our shared vision for expansion. We are confident that this development is far from over, and wish our franchise partners great success as they embark on this next chapter. We look forward with confidence to the years of growth ahead.
