Petra is a small municipality in the interior of Mallorca, around 40 kilometers northeast of Palma. It is located in a flat, fertile plain and can be reached via the Ma-3320 road. The nearest larger town is Manacor, around 12 kilometers to the southeast. The landscape around Petra is characterized by fields, vineyards and almond trees, ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
