Large estate with historic property, 2 new building licenses and many other possible uses
Description:
This large estate of around 498 hectares of land is located between green hills in the north-east of Mallorca in the coastal region of the municipality of Artà, very close to Colonia de Sant Pere. A historic old building can be renovated and two further houses can be built. The property is registered in the island's agricultural register and has the qualification of preferential agricultural use. The extensive grounds are home to a wide variety of fruit trees, two water sources and historic buildings. As you explore the grounds, you can enjoy fantastic views over the island, the bay of Alcudia, the sea and the Tramuntana mountains. The land is currently used for growing almonds and organic sheep and cattle farming. The land also has a hunting license. There is the possibility of renovating the existing buildings and there are also plans to convert the existing 19th century buildings into a hotel or agritourism. There are plans for 21 rooms and communal areas such as a heated swimming pool, fitness room, sauna and restaurant. An agritourism license has already been applied for. In addition to the renovation of the existing building, there are 2 building licenses for the construction of two completely separate houses, each with 3 and 4 bedrooms including bathrooms, living-dining room, kitchen, verandas, terraces, pool, utility room, laundry room and garage. Location
Colonia de St. Pere and its extensive surroundings offer a relaxed location close to the sea, beautiful nature, spectacular sunsets and the original Mallorca. The small marina of Colonia de Sant Pere is also home to some fishing boats, but is mainly frequented by yachts. The buildings in the village are one to two storeys high, there are no high-rise buildings like in other resorts. Tourism has already arrived here, but it is not designed for large numbers of visitors. As a result, the promenade and beaches are relaxed. Bars and restaurants with benches under tamarind trees have been set up on the promenade north of the harbor. Below the promenade is the beach, which is protected by a breakwater. It is about 80 meters long and 20 meters wide. The beach is equipped with showers and is very popular in summer. The hinterland of Colonia de Sant Pere is characterized by the mountain ranges of the east coast of Mallorca, the Serres de Llevant, and is ideal for long walks in winter. There are stores in the village itself as well as in the surrounding municipalities such as Artà, where the popular weekly market takes place every Tuesday.
