Capdepera is a small town in the north-eastern part of the island and is characterised by its picturesque appearance. In the centre, the townscape is dominated by ornately decorated houses made of natural stone, which are strung together like pearls in the small, winding alleyways. Around 3,000 inhabitants live in the municipality, some of whom enjoy a wonderful view of the nearby Puig de Capdepera. This rises like a rocky patron saint above the small coastal town and from the tower you can see neighbouring Menorca in good weather.
